I haven't posted much lately because there isn't much to report, really. We continue to go to physical therapy twice a week (for the torticollis) and are still waiting to get the go-ahead from insurance to get the second DOC band (for the plagiocephaly) . He will be wearing his Mitchell brace (for his clubfoot) full-time for the next 2-3 months - until he starts to pull himself up on his feet. Compared to when he first came home, Patrick's medical entourage is tiny now.
The big news is how adorable our little guy is getting. I seriously can't get enough of him these days. He babbles constantly (especially between 3:00-4:00 AM), has started rolling over, and smiles non-stop.
It's getting much, much harder to drop him off at daycare and head to work.
I love the your posting "can't get enough". That is how I feel about that little guy also. It is a wonderful relief to hope that the difficult days have passed. You and Andy deserve every wonderful moment. So happy, so proud of you.
ReplyDeleteI CANNOT wait to meet him!!! His little grin reminds me of his dad's!
ReplyDeletePatrick is blessed to have such wonderful parents!!
