On Friday, the weather was so nice that Patrick and I decided to go to
Clemyjontri Park. (The terrible, unpronounceable name is a mash of the names of the playground donor's children.) It's a playground that's built so that children with disabilities can play on just about all of the playground equipment. There are lots of ramps, and a lot of the equipment is low to the ground - less scary for the little guys. We took Patrick when he just started walking, and this time he was an absolute maniac.
The whole playground has a rubberized surface, and there's a drag strip that runs around the edge.
This is what Patrick looked like 90% of the time we were there:
Mr. P, demonstrating his fav way to down the twisty slide:
Checking out the bridge:
Playing a bit of Peekaboo in one of the trains:
I could tell he had a blast because he threw the mother of all tantrums when it was time to leave. (Yay, terrible twos!)
He is so cute!
ReplyDeleteWow, this looks awesome. We will have to take a field trip there!
