On May 15, we participated in the March of Dimes March for Babies. It was a humid day, but the rain held off for us, and we enjoyed our 4.2 mile trek through the hilly trails of Reston. One of my coworkers joined us with her son who was born at 24 weeks. Before the walk we found the team from Fairfax hospital and saw several familiar faces from our time there, including the nurse who called Andy to tell him that Patrick was on his way!
It was a much more emotional morning than we anticipated, and we are already looking forward to supporting this event next year. Thank you to everyone who donated to March of Dimes in Patrick's name!
