Today is the day of fate. Today is my original due date of May 11, 2010. While I wasn't suppose to show my cute little bottom until today, you guys have had the pleasure of my presence now for over 55 days.
For those that care about these things, that's 7 weeks or 1320 hours of Patrick greatness. I continue keep the medical staff and my parents on their toes. I know that I will, one day, get to go home, but for now I have my wonderful crib to keep me company.
I weigh in at a clever 6 pounds 10 ounces, and coming in on the 7 pound mark.
This brings me a little closer to the weight I need for my upcoming surgeries. Yes you got that right, I have multiple surgeries in the pipeline. I have a hernia surgery, a tendon clip that is needed for my lucky foot, and I still have a snippy-poo near my sensitive parts. Once I hit eight pounds I should be big enough for the anesthetic dosing to work. Then the fun really begins!

Hanging on to anything to keep the food coming!
In terms of my sucking swallowing breathing coordination, we have some news there. I was evaluated yesterday called the VFSS with speech therapy. They took a look at me and decided I didn't have an issue with my coordination, and really the spells were due to some reflux issues. Since thickening my food, I have been able to keep things down a little better, however, we aren't out of the woods yet. We still have to keep an eye on things since my big episode late last week.

I love being wrapped up!
Everything she does is magic,
Patrick
