Good news, did you guys know I already had a dog? Her name is Ella, and she loves me. Ella sleeps at the foot of my crib or right next to where ever I am. As you might already know, life out of the hospital has kept me very busy and away from a computer for some time. My days started with a bang at home that required a quick back and forth from the ER very quickly. To recap, after 55 days in the hospital NICU, two trips to the ER, one more re-admission to the pediatric cardiac floor I have been home for a week now. In trying to put my stamp on the house, I have started to hit my stride.

I am still under the gun right now for my weight gain, I think that I am close to my fighting weight. I need to keep gaining at least 30 grams or about 1 ounce a day with my eating. At the last weigh in I was 6 pounds 8 ounces, and still around 2.9Kg.
Mom and Dad keep the food coming, and change my diapers every two or three hours. They seem to be doing well, and keeping themselves busy while I rest. Overall I am doing well and trying to keep all my appointments straight in my head (or Dad's calendar). I did manage to get out of my last cast and am now in my fancy magic shoes. This is a set of shoes called a Mitchell Brace which is all part of the Ponsetti casting process.

Things are going well albeit exhausting to be me.
Pacifiers for all!
Patrick
P.S. did you know I can eat and poop at the same time!
Patrick's mommy is SOOOOOOOOOOOO beautiful. Christy/Andy - I am so glad Patrick is home with you and he's gaining weight. Every pic of him I find something adorable.
