My life = an episode of The Office

I don't know how many of you watch The Office... but two weeks ago Pam and Jim had their baby. On the way to the hospital, Pam realized she didn't have her iPod so she sent Dwight to get it. Dwight couldn't find it, but did find mold in the kitchen. He launched a spontaneous kitchen remodel, and Pam and Jim came home to find their kitchen a mess.

You're wondering how this relates to my life, right?

This is what I found in the room that was the hall bathroom when I left for the hospital:

Our bathtub was leaking, and the tiles were popping off of the floor, so we needed to think about redoing the bathroom. What I didn't know, however, is that Andy had secretly hired a contractor to remodel the bathroom while I was in the hospital. His goal was to have everything finished by the time I got home.

Since things were looking great with all of the tests and we hit the 32 week milestone, he figured we were in the clear and told the contractor to get started.

Unfortunately, Patrick had other plans, and I came home halfway through the project. If the little guy could have waited 3-4 days, it would have been done before I left the hospital. Poor Andy, having to spring this one on me the day after Patrick was born. Lucky for him I was on some pretty heavy painkillers!
