Day 12 || We're home....again

Greetings Campers,

It has been another long day in the hospital with my parents never more than 10 feet from my side.  Dad spent the night with me, and Mom wasn't far behind showing up with coffee at 7AM this morning.  The doctors took a close look at me, my feet, chest, hands (which are peeling like a snake!), heart, head, and everything else.  They watched me all day and even came in for ANOTHER test.  (Haven't they done enough?)

It turns out I was crying a little bit of wolf, and really just wanted to go and see the pretty nurses and doctors again.  My attending doctor even brought me a special treat!!!  a package of american cheese.  She said it was a peace offering for all the torment they put me through this past week.  I really think it was meant to appease my parents for all the trips to the hospital.  Either way, it was an extremely nice gesture.

So, as long as I keep my fever down I can stay out of the hospital.  They discharged us this evening around 6PM, and we were all only too happy to come home.  Let's see what the final tally was for this ordeal:

Trips to the Doctor: 2
Trips to the ER: 4
Trips made by ambulance: 2
Attending and Resident Physicians: 10
Specialists: 6
Number of blood draws: 5

They still don't think it was anything more than Kawasaki's Disease as previous diagnosed, however it was an atypical presentation.  Below is my new camera my parents gave me for my stay.  My work will be in a gallery shortly

Below is my other artwork, I was able to perfect once they let me off the monitors in the hospital!

As it is the season, it's not hard to know what my parents are grateful for...
